WELCOME!
Thank you very much for your interest!
With your help, we can build and further develop our project. Through donations or membership, you can support young women on their journey to education—from remote mountain villages to university in the major city of Marrakesh.
Every donation counts! Thank you ever so much.
Why is education so important?
Education is a human right.
Education empowers people to act independently and to develop their own context-appropriate solutions—solutions that align with the prevailing culture while still being future-oriented. Solutions that come from within rather than being imposed from the outside.
Access to education in Morocco is not a given for everyone.
Especially in rural areas, the population is significantly disadvantaged when it comes to educational access. Long distances, combined with transportation or accommodation costs, prevent families affected by poverty from sending their children to secondary or higher-level schools. In addition, families with little educational background are often unable to support their children with homework, career choices, or adapting to life in the city. Many parents are themselves affected by illiteracy and have not experienced formal schooling.
The first generation of young women has fought its way through regular schooling and now aspires to move to the city to pursue higher education. A completely new world is opening up to them—and this is where we can support them.
Housing is a basic requirement for establishing oneself in the city. That is why we provide shared accommodation for female students. In addition, we introduce them to urban and student life. What they need is encouragement, role models and guidance.
